Landscape Ontario, a horticultural trades association based in Milton, received a new grant from Ontarios Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development to support the growing needs of the industry through apprentice training.The Group Sponsor Grant will support more apprenticeship and employers in the industry to register and access the Horticulture Technician Apprenticeship 441-C program.Job seekers and employers will be able to access tools intended to match new workers to more employers with vacancies. There will be additional registration support and resources, including orientation toolkit, mentoring services, digital study manual for new training, and on-the-job training log book digital tracker.
