KANSAS CITY, Mo. 鈥?The University of Kansas is tentatively planning to hold commencement in person in May, the chancellor announced in a letter to employees and students on Tuesday.The university will hold commencements for the class of 2021 and class of 2020.Graduates from the class of 2021 will be recognized on May 16 at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.Ceremonies for the class of 2020 will be held May 23 in the stadium.Chancellor Douglas Girod said in order to comply with crowd size limitations, KU will hold multiple ceremonies on each of those dates.Students and their guests will be assigned to one session, and tickets will be required for all attendees.Girod said it is likely each student will <a href=https://www.stanley-mugs.us>stanley water bottle be allowed three or four guests.Those who arent able to attend will be able to watch a live stream of events.Girod said some parts of commencement will look different due to COVID-19 preca vaso stanley utions, including the traditional walk into Memorial Stadium.While graduates will still make their way down the Hill, they will be socially distanced.Some recognition events will still be held virtually, the chancellor said, and KU Medical Center is still deliberating on stanley thermoskannen graduation plans.鈥?
