There always a danger of the iceberg flipping back over, so we couldn ;t get too close. I had a 16-35mm lens on my Canon 5D Mark II, and the wide angle was versatile enough to capture the hunk of floating ice from any perspective. From an artistic perspective, they are beautiful photos, but they ;re mostly striking for what they are, rather than anything I did myself. I was just lucky to be there to snap it.
