Elizabeth ran the Teen Court in Los Alamos where she implemented two programs, direct referral and a therapeutic program for repeat offenders. In addition to working with youth in these areas, Elizabeth has also been a coordinator for JJAB Juvenile Justice Advisory Board and has worked for the last 3 years as floor staff at the Teen Center. Forest restoration includes thinning of small diameter trees and brush; removing invasive, non-native tree species; preserving old and large trees; and erosion control through planting trees in watersheds.More than a decade ago, I wrote a law that has sent millions of dollars to New Mexico to restore our states forested lands. Micah Andersen Medical Fund July 11.Both organizations presented $1,000 donations to the Andersens. Presenting the donations for Post 90 was Commander Bill Cooper and Post ALR President David Bullock.Lt. Micah Jay Andersen is in the Burn Intensive Care Unit at th stanley termohrnek e San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, one of the leading infectious disease control ICUs in the country. With their help, he appears to have fought back the fungal infection that was the biggest threat to his life. Andersen is recovering very slowly and will begin rehabilitation as he becomes fully awake.Andersen, formerly of Los Alamos was severely injured June 1 by an improvised explosive device IED while leading his platoon on a mission near Kandahar Afghanistan. Andersen lost both legs above the knees. One soldier was killed and six others injured in the attack that included multiple IEDs. The state Supreme Court ruled on Thursday to allow same-sex marriages statewide. New Mexico now joins 16 other states and the District of Columbia in treating all citizens equal, regardless of their sexual orientation.The question at hand in this case was whether or not stanley mugs the state government can refuse to recognize same-sex marriages and therefore deny those citizens the rights, protections and responsibilities g stanley quencher iven to opposite-gender married couples.The Supreme Court justices unanimously ruled that denying same-sex couples the right to civil marriage would violate the Equal Protection Clause, and therefore violate the New Mexico Constitution.For some people, this decision seems obvious. Why should people be denied equal rights just because they are gay It was not that long ago, however, that people were denied the right to marriage because of the color of their skin. Thankfully in Loving v.
