CITY POLICENEWS RELEASE********************27-year-old Melissa Syrette of 203-721 Pine Street was arrested on the 15th of January and charged with two counts of assault police officer, one count of resist arrest, <a href=https://www.cups-stanley-cups.us>stanley cup and two counts of breach of probation. Just after 8 a.m. City Police attended at the accused address for a disturbance call. When the officers were speaking with the accused it is alleged that she began screaming and swearing at the officers. When the o stanley france fficers went to arrest the accuse she began to struggle with them and allegedly kicked one of the officers in the leg. It is further alleged that she attempted to bite the other officer in the groin area. The accused was on probation at the time with conditions to keep the peace and be good. She will appear in court on February 20. During the above arrest of Syrette, while officers were attempting to restrain the female to handcuff her, it is alleged that 31-year-old Paul King of 14 South Gladstone attempted to interfere with the officers making the arrest. When officers went to arrest Mr. King it is alleged that he resisted by struggling. He was subsequently charged with one count of obstruct police and one count of resist arrest. A Sault Ste. Marie doctor who had a massive impact on health care in his <a href=https://www.stanley-cups.us>stanley us adopted community has passed away.Dr. John Kenneth Mohamed, a urologist originally from Trinidad, moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 1967 and quickly set out to introduce treatments and procedures not yet available to the community mdash; including renal dialysis.He was co-founder of the Plummer Hospital 39 angiographic unit and urodynamic services, founder of the General Hospital 39; stanley us s urology clinic, and an original member of theKidney Foundation 39 local chapter.Doc was a teacher at heart and enjoyed instructing and giving lectures to many doctors, nurses, and students, his obituary reads.
