The lawsuit claims in February of 2019, the chaplain used excessive force when responding to an incident at Fayette Mall.Police say the teen was with friends and the group was apparently being disorderly in several stores.The lawsuit also claims the City of Lexington is responsible for not properly training Stewart on how to approach situations involving someone with autism. According to the lawsuit, the stanley cupe family is also suing the city for $500,000.Cell phone video of the incident from a bystander shows the accused chaplain punching the teen several times before someone intervenes.
