Marie police and fire services attended at a residence in the 100 block of Albert Street East regarding a suspicious fire. Officers investigating the incident discovered that a one-gallon gas can had been set on fire by an unknown person and thrown at the residence window. The gas can did not go through the window, but landed on the ground area just outside the home. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported. No suspects were observed in the area.
