Firefighters braced for windy conditions Sunday as they battle a 350-acre wildfire burning near downtown Flagstaff that prompted evacuations of homes and a hotel.Fire officials say the wind is expected to r <a href=https://www.stanley-cups.ca>stanley canada each 30 mph around midday.Meanwhile, a city official said that a California man has been arrested and charged with starting the fire. Flagstaff city spokeswoman Kimberly Ott said 54-year-old Randall Wayne Nicholson is facing a charge of burning of a wildland, a misdemeanor. She said no hometown was listed for Nicholson.The fire broke out Saturday near the popular Little America Hotel and sent smoke through parts of the city. The hotel was briefly evacuated, and evacuation orders for 170 homes remained in place Sunday. No homes or buildings have been damaged. Several hundred other homes are on standby to be evacuated.Coconio County spokeswoman Joanne Keene says crews have established a perimeter around the fire but no part of the blaze has been contained.The Coconio County Sheriff s office said early Sunday that the fire hadn t damaged any homes or buildings.
